The Pesthouse Protect - Essential plan
$27 per month
Provides ongoing, year-round pest coverage designed to treat and manage common household pests.
Your plan includes:
Full internal and external treatment of the home
Treatment of yard areas
Treatment of roof void, weep holes, eaves, wall cavities and ceiling
Treatment of outdoor bins
No-spray treatment for sensitive zones where required
Baiting as required
On-going coverage year round
An initial treatment will be completed, with ongoing support provided in line with the terms below.
Subscription & Coverage Period
This is a subscription-based service billed monthly
Your plan provides continuous 12-month coverage, active while your subscription remains current
Coverage applies only while payments are up to date
Minimum Term & Cancellation
This plan has a minimum term of 10 months
If you choose to cancel within the first 10 months, the remaining balance of the 10-month term will be payable
After the initial 10-month term:
A minimum of 2 months’ notice is required to cancel
Services and billing will continue during the notice period
Covered Pests
This plan covers standard household pests typically controlled through general surface treatments, including:
Large cockroaches
Baby cockroaches
Web-dwelling spiders
Paper wasps (nests present at time of initial treatment only)
Carpet beetles
Fleas and flea larvae
Silverfish
Similar crawling pests
Ants are not included under the Essential plan.
Service Schedule
Your plan includes:
1 full treatment per year, scheduled by Pesthouse
Up to 3 additional return visits per year, where required and approved under this plan
How Return Visits Work (“As Required”)
If pest activity occurs:
Our team will assess the situation and determine if a return visit is required
Return visits are provided where pest activity is considered excessive or outside normal expectations following treatment
Services are limited to covered pests and previously treated areas
This plan is designed to manage meaningful pest activity, not isolated or occasional sightings
Examples of non-qualifying activity may include:
A single cockroach or spider sighting
Minor or expected seasonal activity
Service Limits & Upgrades
This plan includes a maximum of 4 total services per year (1 initial + up to 3 return visits)
If pest activity requires additional visits beyond this, a service upgrade or alternative treatment plan may be required
Response Time
Pesthouse will respond to service requests within 1 business day
Service scheduling will be arranged based on availability and urgency
What’s Not Covered
This plan does not include:
Existing infestations present at the time of initial service
Ants
German cockroaches
Mites
Bed bugs
Flying pests (including flies, mosquitoes, fruit flies)
New wasp nests forming after initial treatment
Pests within personal items (mattresses, clothing, bedding, etc.)
Pest activity caused by structural entry points or environmental conditions
Service Conditions
To maintain effective coverage:
Treated surfaces must not be excessively washed or disturbed within 7 days
Additional pest treatments or repellents must not be applied without Pesthouse approval
Identified structural or environmental issues contributing to pest activity should be addressed within a reasonable timeframe
Failure to meet these conditions may impact eligibility for return visits.
Service Suitability
This plan is designed for general pest control treatment only.
If Pesthouse determines that:
The pest activity is more severe, or
A more specialised treatment is required
You will be advised accordingly.
If a recommended upgrade is declined:
Ongoing pest activity may not be covered under this plan
Further services may require an upgraded treatment

Your initial service will be scheduled by our team following signup
Ongoing and return services are scheduled by Pesthouse based on operational availability
